What this tool checks

This tool scans your page for all structured data implementations — JSON-LD (preferred), Microdata, and RDFa. It detects schema types present (Article, Product, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Organization, WebSite, etc.), checks that required properties for each type are present, validates JSON syntax, and flags deprecated or invalid properties.

Why it matters

Schema markup is the language search engines use to understand your content beyond raw text. Properly implemented JSON-LD can earn your pages rich results in Google — star ratings, FAQs, breadcrumbs, and product prices displayed directly in search results. Rich results typically double or triple click-through rates.

Common issues we find

• No structured data on the page, missing out on rich result eligibility
• JSON-LD syntax errors preventing the schema from being parsed at all
• Missing required properties for the schema type (e.g., Product without name or offers)
• Using Microdata instead of JSON-LD — Google recommends JSON-LD as the preferred format
• Schema type mismatch — marking a blog post as a Product or vice versa
