What this tool checks

This tool measures your page's loading performance using real Lighthouse data from Google's PageSpeed API. It reports Core Web Vitals (Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, First Input Delay), along with Speed Index, Time to First Byte, Total Blocking Time, page size, request count, and render-blocking resource analysis. JavaScript and CSS are checked for minification and unused code.

Why it matters

Page speed is a direct Google ranking factor through Core Web Vitals. Slow sites lose visitors: 53% of mobile users abandon pages that take over 3 seconds to load. Each additional second of load time reduces conversions by 7% on average. Performance also affects crawl budget, meaning slow sites get indexed less frequently.

Common issues we find

• Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) over 2.5 seconds due to large hero images or slow server response
• Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) caused by images without dimensions or dynamically injected content
